Japan Ways Boise - Traditional Shotokan Karate
Japan Ways Boise is the Boise, Idaho branch of Shotokan Karate-do International Federation, headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. The goal of Japan Ways Boise is to teach and train students in the art of Shotokan Karate according to the teachings of the president of Shotokan Karate-do International Federation (SKIF), world-renown master, Kancho Hirokazu Kanazawa - 10th Dan (tenth degree black belt) as well as the teachings of the late Shihan Robert Halliburton. Japan Ways Boise is affiliated with SKIF - United States Federation (SKIF-USF) based in Oakland, California with Chief Instructor, Sensei Johnathan Kwok - 8th Dan.
Japan Ways Boise's philosophy is based on daily dedicated effort, hard physical training, mental discipline, and dedication to the art and history of Shotokan Karate and its founder, Gichin Funakoshi.
